Hospital/Skilled Nursing Facility Sitting:
$11.00/hr (8 A.M. - 8 P.M.) $12.00/hr (8 P.M. - 8 A.M.)
This is companion service
only. Any hands-on assistance must be individually approved by both
Caring People Services and hospital/facility staff.
Hands-on assistance (even when approved) will include only help with
meal trays/feeding and assistance to walk to the bathroom if gait is
stable.
No bathing, assistance with medications, or participation in other daily care.
In-Home/Assisted Living Facility Services:

Levels of service necessary may
vary within a single day, dependent upon the actual needs of the client.
For example:
The client may need the Personal Helper level of service for 4 hours in
the morning, and then may require only the level of Homemaker/Companion
for the remainder of the day.
(Please note: Billing for “day by day” sitter services is sent at the end of services. For on-going services, invoices are mailed at the beginning of the month for which services are scheduled. Refunds will be made as appropriate for any interrupted service.)
Mileage:
Mileage charges apply at 35¢ / mile for errands when the employee uses his or her own car.
Shift Changes:
Shift changes are preferred no earlier than 8 A.M. or no later than 10 P.M. A minimum of 8 hours is required for night shifts.
